There ain't that many mines till you get to Ashland, Shamokin area..... and people are hating on PA? Lived here all my life (Except I lived in OH for 2 years) And I love it. The coal mines aren't a problem, the states biggest issue is gas drilling in the northern tier. Thats ruining our states beauty, but I still love this state. Wow, its a coal fire?
