I have called Pennsylvania home all of my life. I grew up here hunting and fishing its many streams and forests. I have done both all over the US in nearly every state and yet, I always come back to the rivers and woods of PA to really enjoy myself. I take off into the woods every chance I get! They are like a blanket that covers me as I watch God’s creation unfold in front of me. I truly r-e-l-a-x when I am in the woods or at a rivers edge. Time for me literally stands still and there is no pleasure on this earth that gives me the unique perspective on the cares of life like being in the Pennsylvania outdoors!
I was so pleased when this domain name became available. I had been looking for a site where I could share with the rest of the world my love for the outdoors and have the world share back. This site is created to enrich each one of our lives as we talk about our hunting and fishing passions no matter what state you are from!

Hunting post
Pennsylvania is perennially among the top spots in the country for hunting. It’s no surprise really — considering the sheer breadth of forest, state game lands, parks and other areas open to hunting during the appropriate seasons.
What you might not know is that near the end of the 19th century, many species such as deer, bear and wild turkey were faced with near-extinction. That’s why the precursor to the Pennsylvania Game Commission was founded in 1895. The result: With only a few exceptions, wildlife in the commonwealth is more abundant now than at the turn of the century. So now, hunters flock to Pennsylvania during the numerous hunting seasons.
Detailed information regarding seasons, bag limits, rules and regulations, can be found on the Pennsylvania Game Commission web site.
